Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Monet ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. Monet is an augmented-reality painting assistant that helps you measure a physical canvas and work with reference images. We built Monet to run entirely on your device, and we designed it to collect as little as possible.

1. Information We Collect

Monet does not collect personal information, create user accounts, or send your data to us or any third party. The app does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.

The app accesses the following only on your device, and only while you use the related feature:

• Camera — used to measure your physical canvas with augmented reality. Camera frames are processed live on your device and are not recorded or transmitted.
• Photo library — used so you can bring a reference image into the Studio. Images you select are processed locally and are not uploaded.
• Microphone — used for augmented-reality features that require it. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted by the app.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

Your projects, settings, and any imported reference images are saved in the app's local storage on your device. This data never leaves your device through Monet. Removing the app from your device deletes this local data.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers for tracking, or usage analytics. We have no servers that receive your information.

4. Third-Party Services

Monet does not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If you download Monet through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms apply their own privacy practices to the download and to any device-level permissions you grant. Please review the Apple and Google privacy policies for details about their platforms.

5. Permissions

Monet requests camera, photo-library, and microphone permissions so its features can work. You can grant or revoke these at any time in your device's system settings. Revoking a permission may disable the related feature but does not otherwise affect the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Monet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal data, no such information is gathered from any user.

7. Your Rights

Since your data is stored only on your device and never transmitted to us, you remain in full control of it. You can delete all app data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling Monet.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
